Setting email di handset BlackBerry memiliki fitur Level 1 Message seperti layaknya di Ms Outlook. Fitur ini berguna sebagai pe-tanda email yang disetting Level 1 akan berbeda dengan email-email yang lain. Fitur ini berjalan di BlackBerry Internet Services (BIS). Adapun langkahnya sebagai berikut :

1. Login ke http://indosat.blackberry.com/Pilih account email yang akan disetting, lalu pilih menu Filter









Contoh : semua email dari milis id-blackberry@yahoogroups.com akan disetting Level 1.

Pastikan pilih Forward messages to device, dan cek mark juga Level 1 message Jangan lupa Save perubahan tersebut.Kita juga bisa menambahkan filter lebih dari satu jika diperlukan, dengan klik tombol Add Filter.

Berikut contoh tampilan Level 1 di inbox handset BlackBerry (notifikasinya dengan teks warna merah. Bandingkan dengan email biasa yang berwarna hitam.

Penting !! settingan diatas hanya nampak jika menggunakan theme BB Dimension Zen / Today. Jika menggunakan theme lain tidak akan muncul notifikasi Level 1 message.

Muncul di tampilan home screen Blackberry status sinyal edge / gprs [dengan huruf kecil]
1. Lakukan P3BB [Pertolongan Pertama Pada Blackberry]- Matikan device Blackberry, [turn power off]- Cabut baterai blackberry-nya, lalu pasang lagi- Jika masih lowercase gprs / edge lakukan langkah diatas sekali lagi

2. Select Network manual, Menu > Options > Mobile Network.Dicoba pancing dengan operator lain, lalu rubah lagi ke operator semula [Matrix]

3. Bisa dilakukan reset APN Blackberry.net [hubungi Blackberry support provider tersebut untuk melakukan hal ini]

4. Cek tampilan di Menu > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing TableSeharusnya muncul network list, jika belum pilih Register Now.

5. Jika belum berhasil, kemungkinan diarea tersebut memang sedang ada kendala di jaringan sinyal-nya. [contact customer service]
